About Us

Hole 13Club Investments, from New Mexico, has taken over Golf and Development operations of Ironwood and Lake Blackshear Plantation.  The Club Investments Group has experience in golf course design, golf course construction, commercial and residential construction, architectural design, marketing sales and more.  The diverse background of the members of the Club Investments allows them to develop properties with an “in house hands on management approach”.

Larry Dolan is the project coordinator for Club Investments and he is also one of the principal partners.  Larry and several other members of their team have relocated and are making their home at Ironwood. 

Larry Dolan: Principal Owner

Larry Dolan is the Project Coordinator for Club Investments and Ironwood and is also one of the principal partners. Larry brings with him experience of managing the construction of golf courses as well as all of the commercial projects.   

Corey Flegel: General Manager

Corey is the General Manager of  Ironwood and is experienced in Golf Tournament Operations for the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour, USGA events and various other mini-tour events. 

Travis Woods: Superintendent

Travis is the Superintendent with Ironwood with over 15 years of experience.  Travis has  worked at Taylorville Country Club in Taylorville, Illinois for 4 years, Assistant Superintendent at Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head for 7 years and was part of a complete course and facilties renovation there.  Travis has been the Superintendent at Ironwood for 5 years.
